Jennifer “Jen” Romanello is a medical student at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She has previously lived in Washington, DC, where she graduated from the George Washington University (GW) with B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Applied Ethics. While at GW, she founded GW’s chapter of The Triple Helix, an international forum by undergraduates for writing and discussion in bioethics. She also was involved in the GW student-run radio station (WRGW) in which she co-hosted a Sunday morning talk-show and created the weekly section for the discussion of current issues in bioethics. After graduating, she worked at a global fertility practice doing clinical research and also served on the organization’s ethics committee. She has been an Ambassador at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC and is the President and Founding member of the Medical Student Forum on Female Sexual Dysfunction. Jen intends to incorporate the principles of bioethics into the forefront of her practice.
